I am an engineer trying to apply statistics. Generally, my statistical education comes from learning things to solve specific problems. I'm self-taught, and I'd say my real statistics education began with working my way through Statistics For Experimenters by Box, Hunter, and Hunter. Mostly familiar with classical frequentist approaches, but I'm learning the Bayesian perspective currently.
