Does anybody else have the feeling Is it true that the number of questions is growing while the number of answers can't keep up?

I am having the feeling that since 'recently' in the vague sense of the word there has been an upsurge in questions on CV whereas the number of people howwho can give qualified answers (to sometimes very specialized question, esp. from the field of machine learning) has stagnated.

It is a very subjective impression that perhaps is related to recent interest and MOOCs on 'data science' and machine learning. I am wondering if anybody else had this experience.
